Katlyn has been a nervous wreck all weekend.... she tried out for the OneVoice choir on Saturday & in her own words, "didn't do very well" She said her nerves just got the best of her & she felt like she was going to throw up. This has happened to her twice before when she tried out for two different musicals. And she didn't get a call back & was deeply disappointed. So all weekend, she said her stomach hurt every time she thought about it.
The director just called.... and she passed auditions! She will be excited! For those that don't know, OneVoice is the children's choir that sang at the 2002 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony. They have the opportunity to work with a professional voice coach & they travel around Utah doing concerts. Kaitlyn loves musical theater, she has been in 2 productions, & I think with this training, it will give her confidence to audition again. She took the last two rejections pretty hard.
That is the good news here today!
