The Fight Is On!

Last week, Stephen was cornered by a doctor at the hospital. The doctor told him that she wanted him on her unit as an RN once he passed boards, & asked what it would take to get him. He told her day shifts with Sundays off. She said they didn't have an opening on day shift, but she would create a position for him. She wants Stephen to talk to her before accepting a position on another unit to see if she can make him a better offer. It seems there will be multiple offers. We feel so blessed, It has been a long two years & in this economy, we wondered if it would be a hard start once he graduated. We are relieved to already have an offer. All is well! But I do think it's funny that doctors are competing to get him, & I wonder which one will end up victorious?
