Jonathan has been busy, busy, busy. In January he turned 15 & now has a driving permit. Teaching a child to drive is a lesson in faith & courage! Seriously, he is getting better & better! He did run over the mailbox right after he got his permit, & we all thought it was pretty funny! He has driven to Spanish Fork, West Mountain, all over Payson, & on the freeway between the WalMart exit & the Flying J. exit, totaling two miles!
School has been busy. His grades are really good & I am still amazed that he can do so well in Chemistry & never study. He just went to State Debate Tournament & finished 3-2, which is awesome considering he debated against varsity debaters & he is 1st year JV. He enjoyed wrestling & 2 weeks after the season was over, he started playing tennis. Match play starts in a few weeks.
He advanced to Life rank in eagle scouts & has started working on his Eagle project. It has become a family affair & we are working really hard to get all the paper work completed by April's round table so he can present the project & get it approved. If all goes well, he will have the project finished by May 18th & his Eagle Court of Honor will be sometime this summer.
Speaking of summer, he was officially hired at Maple Dell this summer. He is excited! Not only will he be doing what he loves, but earning money towards his mission, & maybe he'll be able to help with all these expensive high school fees associated with playing sports!

Congratulations! It sounds like you have a very impressive young man there! And MUCH taller than his mother I might add. :)
